A longer scene detailing how Carol stole the motorbike outside the computer café was filmed but was later deleted. The scene featured an altered interaction between Carol and the biker who hits upon her (named as 'The Don' in the credits of the film). In that scene Carol subdues the biker and forces him to give up his jacket and his bike. The scene was deemed too similar to the '90s classic Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) and some speculated that it showed Carol in a negative light. Brie Larson later said this scene was one of her most favorite moments of the film and regretted that it didn't end up in the final cut.
