While many characters from the DC Comics have been removed from the story for the Netflix adaptation, many which originated outside the Sandman series are still present. Cain and Abel (hosts of the House of Mystery and the House of Secrets), Destiny, John Dee (the villain Doctor Destiny) mostly from the Justice League stories.
