Many aspects of this series resemble that of The Brady Bunch. Some of the episodes in the series were recycled plotlines from The Brady Bunch. The series was about a blended family; the housekeeper was very amusing and close to the family; and the "Cousin Oliver" syndrome (casting a younger cute kid to replace growing children who no longer fit the bill to revive a show suffering from lower ratings) was duplicated with the addition of Danny Cooksey's character of Sam to the show.
