Arnold the Piggy, the Ziffels' pig, even though credited as one pig actor (Arnold the Piggy), was actually played by a different pig each season. Each pig was a different color and size. Also, the first pig actor was a male, while the three others were female (sows). The character Arnold was always referred to as a male pig, even though viewers could clearly see the sow's nipples in many shots.
