As well as playing Mr. Parminter in every instalment, Barry Morse directed three episodes: The Adventurer: Action! (1972), The Adventurer: Mr. Calloway Is a Very Cautious Man (1973) and The Adventurer: Make It a Million (1973). He recalled being asked to step in due to his reasonably relaxed working relationship with Gene Barry, who had antagonised many of the directing team.
