Riley says she is 12-years-old in Season One, which means Cory and Topanga had Riley at 20, which would mean they had her a year after Crescere che fatica (1993) ended when they were still in college. Shawn says to Maya in the episode "Girl Meets Upstate" is, "I didn't meet you until I was 32."
