While Richie is watching a YouTube video about Stab 8, one of the thumbnail recommendations beside it is an interview with Woodsboro survivor Kirby Reed played by Hayden Panettiere in Scream 4 (2011). This Easter egg confirms her survival, as her fate had been speculated ever since the release of the 4th film.
