The episode Melrose Place: Till Death Do Us Part (1994) originally featured Matt kissing Rob, Billy's friend. The scene was cut. "We filmed it. The network had the final cut. It was a kiss too far from their point of view. It was a place they didn't want to go. Twenty years ago, it was verboten", Darren Star tells to Variety in 2015.
