Connery so confused during Dr. No that he said the name "Connery, Sean Connery". According to Eunice Gayson who played Sylvia Trench, the filming of the scene where Connery introduces himself to her he was so nervous he kept fluffing the line now famous line by giving his real name. He came out with other permutations like "Sean Bond" and "James Connery". The director, Terence Young told Gayson to take him away for a drink or two to calm his nerves.
