In May 2020, shortly after a painful gardening accident that required brief hospitalisation, Brian May suffered a minor heart attack and underwent emergency surgery to place three stents in occluded arteries around his heart. A week later he spoke on Instagram addressing the incident under the title 'Sheer Heart Attack,' a jokey reference to the Queen album of the same name from 1974.
