Because someone near director Antoine Fuqua tested positive for Covid-19 mere days before the film began shooting, he had to isolate. Fuqua directed the entire film from a van, specifically designed for cinema called COLORSPACE, rather than on the soundstage with the actors. After the Guilty, Fuqua continued to direct his next projects from COLORSPACE.
