In the original theatrical release of Matrix Reloaded (2003), many of the signs during the freeway chase had eight-character hexadecimal codes instead of their actual content, as shown in later theatrical versions and on home video. These hex codes were cheat codes for the companion game Enter the Matrix. In that, there is a hacking minigame where these codes are coupled with the "cheat" command to activate the cheats.
