(at around 1h 11 mins) In the scene at the Ritz Gotham, Edward Nygma asks "how's my mole?" and points to his face. If you notice it's in the same place as Val Kilmer's real mole. This along with his hair style and exact same glasses and suit shows that Edward is trying to emulate Bruce Wayne.
