In 'Grodd Lives' in season 1 and 'Gorilla Warfare' in season two we see a shot of Grodd's lair - a triangular building like the Flat Iron with a high tower at the point of the triangle, described in 'Gorilla Warfare' as a bell tower. This same building features as the establishing outside shots of Watchtower - Clark Kent and his League's HQ in later seasons of Smallville (2000)
