The character of Shake is supposed to be The Punisher's conscience and humanity in this film which is quite similar to the 2004 reboot in which Rebecca Romjin's character is Thomas Jane's positive voice and both Julie Benz and Wayne Knight as Microchip (The Punisher's partner in the comic book) are for Ray Stevenson in Punisher: War Zone.
