Four of the show's main cast members have appeared in Disney's live-action remakes of its animated movies. Jim Carter voiced the Executioner in Alice in Wonderland (2010), Lily James and Sophie McShera starred as Cinderella and Drisella, respectively, in Cenerentola (2015), while Dan Stevens played the Beast in La bella e la bestia (2017). In Cenerentola (2015), Lily James plays servant while Sophie McShera) is an aristocrat. In this show, their roles are reversed as Lady Rose and Daisy.
