Actresses Kim Dickens (Cassidy Phillips) and Maggie Grace (Shannon Rutherford) will later star on Fear the Walking Dead (2015) as Madison Clark and Althea 'Al' Szewczyk-Przygocki, respectively. Series creator Dave Erickson once said in an interview that he was impressed by Dickens and Grace's performances on Lost and that was a big part of the reason why he wanted them in his new spin-off of The Walking Dead (2010).
