A Sunny Deol was producing a film called London starring Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Karishma Kapoor and it was being directed by the London based woman director Gurinder Chadda. The shooting started and problems started between Sunny and his director began . Gurinder was making the film with a more realistic approach. But Sunny Deol wanted more commercial elements that were routine for Hindi movies. Pluz Gurinder had a problem understanding Hindi. Sunny kept interfering in Gurinder's work and telling her how to make the film. Finally they decided to shelve the film. Sunny alot of money was already wasted as a schedule was already done in London. Sunny Deol then decided to turn director and make the film in India .Karishma Kapoor was replaced by Urmila and the film's title was changed to Dillagi.
