Producer David Parfitt told in 2018 that he was verbally assaulted and manhandled by producer Harvey Weinstein after a test screening of 'My Week With Marilyn'. The Channel 4 series Dispatches (1987) revealed this on their episode related to Weinstein's U.K. activities. "When we got through the main shoot and into the test, [Weinstein] decided it wasn't enough Marilyn's film and that he wanted more Marilyn. The scores came in at the end of the test and they were very good. In his fury about it doing so well when he thought it wouldn't, he physically assaulted me", Parfitt said. In 2017, several actresses accused Weinstein of sexual harassment.
