Ricky Gervais, who played Michael Scott's counterpart, David Brent, in the English version of the show, The Office (2001), made a cameo in The Office: The Seminar (2011) and again in The Office: Search Committee (2011) although "The Seminar" is his only in person appearance as his appearance in "Search Committee" is via video conference only.
