"Establishing shot" of the airport with Sydney skyline in background that lead to the private plane hangar is misleading. From the airport there is no conceivable way to see the Sydney city skyline across the horizon. Though it is approximately 10km, there are dozens of skyscrapers, apartment complexes & many other buildings along the way that would block the view
