During the scene when the FBI mentions Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman), Inspector Walter Cobb (Larry Bryggman) asks what they are talking about; Ricky Walsh (Anthony Peck) replies directly to him and says "that thing in the building in L.A." In fact, Anthony Peck also played a cop with the LAPD in Trappola di cristallo (1988). He appeared in scenes mainly with Sergeant Al Powell (Reginald VelJohnson) outside of the Nakatomi building. Whether or not he is supposed to be the same character in this movie is unclear, although it would seem a strange casting choice if he wasn't the same character, after a career change.
