The film was first released on Blu-ray in the U.S. by The Criterion Collection in 2009. However, it was discontinued almost immediately due to Criterion losing the rights to Studio Canal, its previous owners. For a while, it became a collector's item due to its OOP (out of print) status, until July 15, 2020, when Criterion announced the film as one of the titles for its October 2020 release lineup.
