Christopher Lee immediately accepted the role of Count Dooku/Darth Tyrannus reasoning in his autobiography, "You do not turn down 'Star Wars' unless you're Harrison Ford and have already done three..." Lee loved the shoot and became good friends with George Lucas describing him as "...he couldn't have been easier to work with, and once started, could talk the stars down."
