Jonathan Groves, the Cowboy, dies when a bathtub falls through the ceiling, which crushes him. The same death was used in the 2005 "Final Destination" novel "End of the Line" by Rebecca Levene, for a teen girl named Rinoka Aratsu. Both characters were also in hospital beds, recovering from serious injuries, when the chain of events leading up to their deaths started.
