When the school counselor tells Mr. Garrison that Mr. Hat is an impersonation of his gay side, Mr. Hat is replaced by the "hand puppet" Mr. Twig, which has a pink triangular patch on its shirt. The same patch was used in Nazi concentration camps to label homosexuals.
