There are two references to L'assassino ti siede accanto (1981), which Amy Steel starred in: A cat scares Skip before he "dies", just as it happens to Alice in Friday the 13th Part 2, and Arch gets hung upside down in a rope, just like Scott in Friday the 13th Part 2.
