In episode 115 "Your Opponent is Me!", as Kidomaru prepares to launch his final attack against Neji Hyuga, the audio effect that can be heard at this point (00:20:16-00:20:18) is a sound bite from the 2002 horror film "The Ring". The sound bite used in this episode is from the film's most famous sequence, in which vengeful spirit Samara Morgan (Daveigh Chase) emerges from a television set to kill the latest viewer of her cursed videotape, Noah Clay (Martin Henderson). As Samara reveals her deformed face to Noah, mentally projecting all of the images of the cursed video into his mind at once and killing him with fear, the audio effects used and Noah's dying scream are heard as Kidomaru gears himself up to launch his Sticky Spider Thread one last time.
