Around October 2008, the global financial crisis occurred. It was for this reason, coupled with Klebanoff's woefully slow filming process and his insubordination that led a producer to abandon filming in Korea after 15 days. The picture was already over budget due to Klebanoff's inability to shoot more than one page per day, his constant changing of the locations, his abandonment of structures built for sets he then wrote out of the script and his steadfast refusal to compromise on expensive production elements such as visual effects. Critically, Mr. Klebanoff had not filmed a significant number of the scenes required to be shot in Korea.
