Kelly Marie Tran, who plays Rose, said in an interview that she was on a press tour in London and stopped by a pub with some friends. A group of people sat at the table next to them and started talking about the movie, which they had just seen, including her character. After she finished eating, she walked over and said she had overheard their conversation. They apologized and asked if they had spoiled the movie for her. She said not at all and introduced herself. When they finally recognized her, they all freaked out. She laughed, sat with them awhile and posed for photos. Tran said it was an otherworldly experience.
