Lestat gets triggered whenever someone refers to him as "a devil" or "The Devil". This is due to his sinister and mysterious nature that even human beings can pick up on. In episodes one and five, "In Throes of Increasing Wonder" and "A Vile Hunger for Your Hammering Heart", respectively, when he is called "a devil" or "The Devil", he gets upset or angry. Half the time, he lashes out in response, while other times, he stays put. Furthermore, in the pilot episode, as Lestat stalks toward Louis after he kills the two priests, at one point, he states to Louis, "I'm not The Devil."
