The allusions to Henry Tyroon's Ivy League background are mixed, presumably intentionally. Stanislas tells Leonard ("Nardo") that Henry is actually from Boston (definitely Harvard territory) and pointedly mentions the color crimson (Harvard's color), but at the same time, tells him that Henry majored in languages at Yale.
