Regarding Moushumi Chatterjee in Kranti,, several different versions have been stated. Manoj finally broke his silence. He stated " A commitment causal or serious need's to be kept. I made no commitment to Moushumi. I do not mind repeating a artiste. But the artiste should fit the character and must have the physical traits of the character. Moushumi just did not fit into any role in Kranti."
