Second Survivor Series in a row where Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior and Dusty Rhodes captained their respective teams. Hogan would once again lead 'The Hulkamaniacs' and Rhodes 'The Dream Team'. In '89 the Warrior led 'The Ultimate Warriors', whereas this year it was simply 'The Warriors'.
