In Fletch - Un colpo da prima pagina (1985), Fletch charges his stay and meals to a Ted Underhill's account. Director Kevin Smith was once set to direct the prequel 'Fletch Won', but the project was canceled because he couldn't get Jason Lee to play Fletch.
