In contrast to the animation in Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) which payed homage to the series Thunderbirds (1965), the animation in this show was similar to traditional Disney animation seen in Tangled (2010), Frozen - Il regno di ghiaccio (2013), and Big Hero 6 (2014).
