During marketing research to determine why this series had fewer viewers than The L Word (2004) it basically came down to the fact that straight men enjoyed seeing nude women having sex as much, if not more than, lesbians, on TLW, but straight men and women avoided QAF because they didn't want to watch naked men having sex with each other. There is a bigger target market and more tolerance for lesbians on screen than there is gay men.
