Nearly every non-lead actor or actress that worked on Star Trek: The Original Series (1966), also appeared on this show. This is probably due to both shows having been filmed at first, Desilu Studios, then later, Paramount Studios. Lead "Star Trek" performers who also guest appeared include George Takei, William Shatner, and eventual series regular Leonard Nimoy. Vic Perrin appeared in several episodes, and Percy Rodrigues starred in Star Trek: Court Martial (1967)(#1.20) as well as the voice over for the trailer for Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987). There were also some that did not work on Star Trek: The Original Series, but later appeared at some point in the Star Trek franchise.
