The average duration of the series increased as the years went by:The first series of four specials ranged between 30-35 minutes, whereas series 2-6 were given a 40 minute timeslot. Series 7-13 were expanded to a 45 minute slot, whereas the final two series were given a 50 minute place in the schedule.The duration of the various Christmas, Halloween and Easter specials varied, but the majority were a 50 minute duration.
