The sign that Dante and Randal hang up when they re-open the Quick Stop at the end of the movie says "I Assure You We're Re-open!!!" which is an ode to the original film in which Dante uses shoe polish to make a sign after the shutter locks were jammed shut with bubble gum which he writes "I Assure You We're Open!"
