According to the 2019 bio of Carrie Fisher by Sheila Weller, first assistant director Bruce Cohen reported that Fisher was mainly hired to polish Tinkerbell's lines, though she did other things, as well. One exchange of dialogue Cohen credits to Fisher are the lines when Tinkerbell says, "You know that place between sleep and awake? That place where you still remember dreaming? That's where I'll always love you" ... "That's where I'll be waiting."
