Daisy Ridley and Adam Driver did an immense amount of training for their big shared fight against the Praetorian guards, and their efforts paid off in that Rian Johnson didn't have to use long lenses or editing trickery to conceal their inadequacies or the faces of stunt performers. He was able to shoot wide and show the two of them actually doing the fights.
