Robin Sherwood's first role was in a film called The Love Butcher in 1975. She said in an interview years later that she was hesitant about taking the role when they offered it because she'd have to be fully nude during a scene where she's assaulted. But producers told her that though she would be nude during filming, they wouldn't show her body onscreen. They lied. Weeks later, when she saw the final film, she was furious because her breasts and butt were visible on screen throughout. She was afraid it would damage her career, but thankfully the film wasn't released because it was so bad they couldn't get any distribution. But, when Death Wish II was a big hit seven years later, producers released The Love Butcher to cash in on Sherwood's name. At that point she didn't care because she had decided to give up acting. Ironically, Sherwood also has an extensive nude assault scene in Death Wish II.
