The sequence with Balthazar Bratt (Trey Parker) attempting to steal the diamond is set to the Michael Jackson song "Bad". The next time we see Bratt, he is wearing a massive fat suit, similar to the one "Weird Al" Yankovic wore in the music video for his parody version of the same song ("Fat").
