Before Robert Ito and Val Bisoglio starred in Quincy (1976), which was also produced by Universal Television, they both guest-starred in the same two part episode (Il tenente Kojak: The Chinatown Murders: Part 1 (1974) and Il tenente Kojak: The Chinatown Murders: Part 2 (1974)), where Ito's character was headed by a Chinese gang.
