Paul Atreides demonstrates a sonic power method of breaking a tetrahedral obelisk to the Fremen. By interesting coincidence, there is a similar scene in Alejandro Jodorowsky's La montagna sacra (1973), between the alchemist and the thief. Jodorowsky had made an earlier attempt to adapt Dune into a movie.
