Justin Hartley would later become famous for the role of Kevin Pearson in This Is Us (2016). In that series, Kevin finds out about his uncle Nicky Pearson under the alias of Clark Kent. As a child, Nicky mentions being a "Lois Lane" to his protective brother Jack. Furthermore, Kevin's great-grandfather is played by Michael Ironside, who portrayed Lois Lane's father Sam Lane.
