The opening sequence (since Season 3 and retroactive to seasons 1 and 2) is the same all through the series, with Fred working, the foreman blowing the work whistle, Fred happily jumping out of his workstation on the dinosaur, sliding down the tail straight into his car, and taking off.The first opening had him stopping at the time clock, clocking out, then heading home, where Wilma, Dino and Baby Puss run out of the house to get in the car. After that they're shown driving to a drive-in theater, then Fred puts the drive-in speaker on the car and Dino pops his head through the roof of the car, and they settle in to watch the movie. The first change was after Pebbles was born. The time clock scene was eliminated entirely for the rest of the series. Fred is shown driving home, running into the house to pick up Pebbles, then running back out with her, with Wilma, Dino and Baby Puss in tow. After settling in at the drive-in Pebble is placed on top of Dino's head. (This was done as product placement for" Flintstones Building Boulders", a real-life toy set that had come out and was also featured in at least one other episode)The second change was after Bamm-Bamm was adopted by the Rubbles. When Fred pulled up, Wilma ran out holding Pebbles, followed by Dino and Baby Puss as usual. The Flintstones then stop for the Rubbles, and they squeeze into the back of the car before continuing on. At the drive-in, both Fred and Barney place Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm on Dino's head.
