Maggie's first words in the canonical run of The Simpson's were "Daddy" in I Simpson: Lisa's First Word (1992), and were spoken by Elizabeth Taylor. But her first words ever on television in general were "Good night", in the sketch also titled "Good Night" in the families first run on The Tracey Ullman Show: Lottery/Ambulance Pickup/Golf/Girl on a Ledge (1987).
