Joan Cusack and Susie Cusack are sisters. This is the first of their two film collaborations (as of February 2016). The second being Alta fedeltà (2000), which also starred their brother John, their father Dick Cusack, and was also directed by Stephen Frears. Frears had also previously directed John in Rischiose abitudini (1990).
